Background
This project aims to create a health app dedicated for Malaysians (specifically for the B40 community) that helps that be aware of common health problems/diseases that a faced by these communities. This would allow for early detection and early treatment and avoid unnecessary deaths in this underprivileged community. Ultimately, overall aim is to get the B40 better access to medical care and treatment for diseases with preventable deaths.
Objective
- Create an app that is user friendly and easy to use for the B40
- Educate the B40 on the common/notable diseases that they should be looking out for
- Provide avenue for monitoring (blood pressure, sugar levels)
- Use the app to connect uses with available treatment centres (like government hospitals/clinics) etc.
